Neurodevelopment and addictive behaviours

Graduate in Biology from the Complutense University of Madrid, with Masters in Neuroscience and Computational Biology. He is currently working on his thesis at the Complutense University, within the Department of Cell Biology of the Faculty of Biological Sciences, through a Santander-Complutense pre-doctoral contract.

His thesis revolves around the use of animal models of Alzheimer’s disease, studying the impact of stress markers at an early age, such as intensive alcohol consumption in adolescence, on the early onset of neurodegenerative diseases. Thanks to cellular and tissue neuroimaging techniques, the application of behavioural tests and the analysis of blood markers, it offers a multidimensional perspective in the study of this type of disease.
