Ángeles currently combines her teaching work at the Complutense University of Madrid with her research in the fields of neuropsychology and addiction, among others. She earned her PhD in 2017 from the UCM and subsequently pursued postdoctoral research at San Diego State University (California, USA).
Secondary Research Areas
This line of research focuses on the clinical application of electrophysiological biomarkers. These biomarkers are developed by studying the brain’s electromagnetic activity of patients with neurological disorders using MEG and EEG. This line of research is involved in studies involving patients with epilepsy, stroke, dementia, autism, or ADHD.
