Neuropsychology and neuroplasticity
She is currently a Full Professor at the Faculty of Psychology at the Complutense University of Madrid. She conducts research in the fields of neuropsychology and cognitive neuroscience, with a special interest in the study of healthy and pathological human cognition, neuropsychological recovery mechanisms, and neuroplasticity phenomena. For this purpose, she has focused on treating patients with various neurological pathologies, primarily those with acquired brain damage. For approximately 30 years, she has combined these teaching and research activities with clinical work in the field of neuropsychological intervention and neurorehabilitation, carried out at various institutions, most recently HM Hospitales.
