OPM-MEG, the Next Generation of Functional Neuroimaging: From Data Acquisition to Analysis

Last weekend, our researcher Alejandra García Colomo attended the workshop «OPM-MEG, the Next Generation of Functional Neuroimaging: From Data Acquisition to Analysis», organized by @MAG4Health in collaboration with @Brainbox. Alejandra presented her work on early functional alterations associated with blood-based biomarkers in Alzheimer’s disease, and joined discussions on how emerging technologies like optically pumped magnetometers (OPM-MEG) could enhance both data quality and participant experience during recordings. The event sparked exciting conversations around the future of MEG and its clinical applications. We’re looking forward to keep learning about the potential of OPMs and to build on the collaborative ideas that began to take shape during the workshop.
