Processing emotions
Sergio graduated in Psychology from the Complutense University of Madrid in 2023. In 2024, he completed a Master’s Degree in Introductory Research in Mental Health from CIBERSAM, also at the Complutense University of Madrid. He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in General Health Psychology at the Rey Juan Carlos University.
Since 2022, he has been part of the Experimental Psychology and Emotional Processing team at the Faculty of Psychology at the Complutense University, where he conducts EEG and ECG recordings and is responsible for data analysis for his thesis, which focuses on the role of relaxation in emotional regulation and defensive cascade processes.
