Cortical gyrification is increasingly recognized as a key factor contributing to individual variability in brain stimulation effects.

Our recent findings highlight that the alignment of the electric field with cortical columnar structures plays a key role in stimulation outcomes, emphasizing the importance of individualized MRI-based protocols for optimizing tACS application.
