Karolina Joanna Swider

He realizado dos maestrías: Una en Neurobiología y otra en Psicología en la Universidad Jagiellonian (UJ) en Cracovia (Polonia) en 2009 y 2013, respectivamente. Comencé mis estudios de doctorado en el Instituto de Psicología de la UJ en 2013. En 2014 recibí la beca PRELUDIUM del Centro Nacional Polaco de Ciencia para jóvenes científicos (proyecto de 3 años) y recibí la aceptación del Centre for Cognition en Radboud University (Nijmegen, Los Países Bajos) para cursar el doctorado, graduándome en 2019. En 2020 recibí la Beca Individual Marie Słodowska-Curie (MSCA-IF), para desarrollar el proyecto denominado "Understanding the mechanisms of pain modulation in the context of fear conditioning – MEG and EEG study". Mi trabajo está enfocado a comprender los mecanismos de la percepción y modulación del dolor usando técnicas conductuales y neurofisiológicas como EEG y MEG.
